On March 30th, the grand winners for the new song category in the 2024 "On the Music Waves" World Contest were announced, and the song "Hopeless" performed by Jeny Krincheva from Bulgaria ranked second.

Four Bulgarian musicians are happier than ever, as their song has been declared one of the best new songs.

The beatmaker Robi (Roberto Nikolov), in collaboration with the young hope of Bulgarian music, who boldly ventured onto the world stage, Jeny Krincheva, formed the foundation for creating this song as a project initiated by the 14-year-old Jeny.

The theme was chosen by Jeny to reflect the feelings raging in her teenage world, which was highly appreciated by the international jury of the contest, composed of songwriters, composers, musicians, performers, and producers working for "EMI", "BMG Ricordi", "Airplane! Records", "Musica e Rivoluzione", "Universal Edition", "Universal Music Publishing", "Warner Classics", "Walt Disney Records", "Cantieri Sonori", "D'altro canto".

The "Hopeless" project is the foundation upon which Jeny's education in music production and composition continues, and this is the reason she collaborates with another wonderful Bulgarian musician, Alexander Georgiev - A.L.E.K.S., to realize the musical piece and create more fantasy and finesse in the song. The song "Hopeless" gains its beautiful sound arrangement thanks to the incredible guitarist, performer, arranger, and sound designer Svetoslav Kepcheljuv - Svett. His innovative spirit, perfectionism, and attention to every detail in the sound are his trademark, and the ease with which he works with Jeny is more than impressive. The mutual desire for the song to become not just a beautiful song but to touch everyone who hears it is at the core of the "Hopeless" song, aiming to acquire the delicate sensitivity that touches every listener and to be highly appreciated among over 500 new songs participating in the "On the Music Waves" 2024 contest.

The ovations Jeny receives for her exciting and emotional performance are a result of her quest for perfection in singing and building her own style under the guidance of the established international vocal coach Iskra Milkova, who encourages and contributes to Jeny's bold pursuit of her dreams.

The song is a call to seek beauty and silence within us, in our lives, in our chaotic world, and to believe that hope will come to us not only through our friends and family but also through ourselves, taking more responsibility to believe in the wonders of life. In fact, hope is always around us, no matter how mysterious it may seem, and we just need to discover it and emerge from our hopelessness. The song invites each of us to immerse ourselves in the magical night and meet ourselves.
